"The ruby of the rockies" is located along the Crystal River between Carbondale and Marble. Redstone has a great 4th of July parade (don't miss the pie sale). Redstone is an old west mine company town tucked between the Crystal river and the valley walls it has a population of under 100. The entire town is on the National Register of Historic Monuments.
