Snowmass Village is located up Brush creek road about 15 miles north and west of Aspen. The wide U shaped glacial Brush creek valley which used to be the Anderson ranch now has a golf course, deluxe condominiums and the Anderson Ranch Arts center. The town of Snowmass village stepped up the side of the ski slope in tiers of pedestrian malls was designed by Fritz Benedict.
