PBS will broadcast the Colorado production; John Denver, A Songs Best Friend. The film directed and photographed by Greg Poschman of Moving Media, inc and was produced for Sony/BMG by Dirk Detweiler of Sedna Films. The film features original interviews with some of John's closest family and friends, intercut with archival footage of JD performing at Redrocks, his TV specials in Aspen and personal archival footage. The filmmakers used John Denver's voice from his autobiographical book on tape as a personal narration for the film. PBS selected John Denver; A Songs Best friend for broadcast during their national fund raising campaign.
